Rearchitecting and redesigning the Candidate Labs Recruiter and Employer Platforms

Recruiter Smart Search Platform
Candidate Labs positions themselves as a search firm structured as a technology company, and the power of their technology positioning lies with the Recruiter Smart Search platform. This enterprise software enables recruiters to source candidates using database integrations, including LinkedIn/OXY, and search via ML-powered queries— delivering significantly faster sourcing results.
When I first consulted Candidate Labs, there were major issues with the design and user flows of the candidate funnels and primary architecture. After a round of research with the product and recruitment teams, I designed a new approach to the Smart Search experience that enabled faster viewing of candidate stages and the ability to take quick actions and further expedite their sourcing processes.

Employer Portal Application
The Employer Portal website is Candidate Lab’s external facing product experience, enabling their employer partners to view a pipeline and statuses of submitted candidates for a particular role.
The design challenge with the Employer Portal was the fact that is was originally architected as a simple, old school website with awkward drop-down navigation. After conducting research, my redesign offered a completely fresh web application UX, with navigation and actionable filters that allow employers to quickly toggle through statuses and candidate details.
